MLE Expands “Factory Mutual” Certification For Booms and Scissors

 

MLE has worked closely with Factory Mutual to receive “EX” certification for hazardous environments. The complete line of Booms and Scissors are now approved for operation in environments that contain explosive gases which include ratings up to Class I, Division I, Group D. Typical applications include the following:

 

  • Gas Storage Locations
  • Oil & Gas Drilling and Processing
  • Paint Booths and Painting Areas
  • Aerosol Plants
  • Chemical Plants

These machines include significantly more spark and fire protection as compared with “EE” rated machines. “EE” rated machines should never be used where known explosive gases are present.

 

The EX machines as developed by MLE are now in there 3rd generation and include all the important features as include with standard lifts such as:
