MLE Delivers T100CR to Cape Canaveral - Clean Room |

We are proud to be a critical part in the launch process of Satellites at Cape Canaveral, the Office of Space Launch (OSL) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). With nearly one year of development work to produce the "Next Generation" manlift specifically designed for Clean Room Operation, the T100CR was delivered on May 5th 2008. A team of Engineers from Lockheed Martin, The Aerospace Corporation and the United States Air Force were all part of generating the exact specifications needed to best handle the Satellite processing. MLE Engineers were involved in the initial site survey to review all the applications that the T100CR was to be used for which consited of two seperate locations. The existing location was much smaller and drove the requirement for the extremely short stowed length. Other important features are as follows:

This customer had the need to move plastic injection molding dies up to 20,000#. They wanted a drip pan edge to keep any liquid debris from reaching the floor. This was a modification to our standard machinery cart which includes the following features:
